Dear Students and Parents,

Starting June 1, 2024, there will be changes in our class plans aimed at improving attendance and enhancing the learning experience.

  1. Pay in Advance Method: Payment of fees will be on a monthly basis, due by the 5th of each month.
  2. Attendance Requirement: All students are required to attend a minimum of 2 classes per week.
  3. Online Classes: Online classes will be provided for long-distance students on days other than in-person classes starting from June. Please spread the word.
  4. Training Methods: a. Arangetram Oriented b. SAMPDA Certification Oriented c. Arangetram + Certification Oriented Students can choose the method based on their goals. Training items and fees will differ accordingly.
  5. SAMPDA Certification: I will prepare students for SAMPDA Certification only if they are deemed eligible. Participation in the exam is optional, and the decision is left to the parents.
  6. Performance and Exam Consideration: Students will be considered for performances and exams based on clean presentation and good attendance. Seniority will not be a determining factor. Juniors who perform better may be given precedence.
  7. Absence Notification: If not sick, please inform in advance (at least one day prior) if you are going to be absent from class. Messages or emails should include a valid reason. Missed classes will not be made up for students. However, if I miss any class, I will arrange a makeup session.
  8. Dress Code: Proper attire is required for classes. No shorts are allowed. For students wearing langa (pavada) and frocks, leggings or pajamas are mandatory. Please wrap the chunni around the waist and pin up any loose hair. Wearing a bindi is encouraged.
  9. Costumes and Jewelry: Inform me before buying or stitching dance costumes or jewelry. Please provide details regarding colors, material, and items being purchased.
  10. Practice and Learning: Students are expected to practice diligently. I will teach new material only when students are proficient in previously taught content. No videos will be provided; learning is encouraged through memory recall. I appreciate parents’ involvement and feedback.
  11. Individual Performances: Parents are encouraged to organize individual performances for their children, in addition to those I arrange.
  12. Performance Permissions: Please seek my permission and keep me informed if you perform using music from the drive at any other venue.
  13. Audio and Video Files: Do not share audio or video files with anyone outside our school. They are for the use of our students only.
  14. Water Bottles: Bring your own water bottles without fail.
